INEE Clinic Website Terms of Service
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and conditions of use between INEE Clinic (the “Clinic”) and users in connection with the Clinic’s website and related online services.
Article 2. Definitions
1. “Website” means the online service operated by the Clinic to provide information about the Clinic, medical professionals, treatments, prices, and related content, as well as membership, consultation, and appointment request functions.
2. “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms, registers through a social login method supported by the Clinic, and uses the Services.
3. “Services” means information browsing, online consultation, appointment requests and management, MY INEE member functions, and other related functions provided through the Website.
Article 3. Effect and Amendment of the Terms
1. These Terms take effect when they are posted on the Website and accepted by the user.
2. The Clinic may amend these Terms when required by applicable law or service operations.
3. When the Terms are amended, the Clinic will provide advance notice of the effective date and the changes on the Website. Material changes that are unfavorable to users will generally be announced at least 30 days before they take effect.
4. A Member who does not agree to the amended Terms may request account deletion.
Article 4. Membership and Social Login
1. Website consultation and appointment services are available only after registration.
2. Members may register using a Kakao, LINE, or Google account.
3. Persons under 14 years of age may not register for the Website or use its online consultation and appointment services.
4. Members must provide accurate information and securely manage their accounts and login methods.
5. Some functions may be temporarily limited due to an outage, policy change, or termination of service by a social login provider.
Article 5. Scope of the Services
The Services may include:
1. Information about the Clinic, medical professionals, treatments, and prices
2. Skin and hair-related content, including INEE Insight
3. Online consultation and appointment requests
4. Management of appointment and consultation history
5. MY INEE member functions
6. Other functions provided by the Clinic through the Website
Article 6. Appointment Requests and Confirmation
1. Submitting a consultation or appointment request through the Website does not by itself confirm an appointment.
2. An appointment is confirmed only when the Clinic reviews the request and sends a confirmation to the Member.
3. Appointment changes and cancellations are governed by the separately posted Cancellation and Refund Policy and the procedures provided by the Clinic.
4. The Website does not provide direct payment functions for deposits or treatment fees. If a separate deposit or payment is required, the Clinic will separately provide the payment method and applicable conditions.
5. Use of the Services may be restricted in cases involving false information, repeated cancellations, or failure to attend an appointment without a valid reason.
Article 7. Medical Information and Online Consultation
1. Medical and treatment information on the Website and online consultation services are intended to provide general information and guidance before a visit.
2. Online consultation does not constitute a final diagnosis, prescription, or confirmation that a particular treatment is suitable for a Member.
3. The actual treatment method, scope, dosage, cost, and recovery plan may change following an in-person examination and consultation with a medical professional.
4. The Clinic does not collect health-related sensitive information through the Website, including information about medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, previous treatments or surgery, or skin and scalp photographs. Members must not enter or attach such information in the online consultation field.
5. If health information is required, the Clinic will obtain it after the Member visits the Clinic or through a separate lawful consent procedure.
6. Online consultation through the Website is not an emergency medical service. In an emergency, users must immediately contact 119 or the nearest medical institution.
Article 8. International Users and Foreign-Language Information
1. Foreign-language information and translations are provided to assist international users.
2. Prices are generally stated in Korean won (KRW). Exchange-rate differences and fees charged by card issuers, banks, or money-transfer services may apply separately.
3. Users are responsible for confirming visa, flight, accommodation, and entry requirements with the relevant authorities.
4. If there is any difference in meaning between a translation and the Korean version, the Korean version will govern in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Article 9. User Obligations
Users must not:
1. Provide false information or use another person’s information
2. Use another person’s account or personal information without authorization
3. Interfere with the normal operation of the Website
4. Infringe the copyrights, privacy, or other rights of the Clinic or any third party
5. Post or transmit unlawful content or content contrary to public order
6. Violate applicable law or these Terms
Article 10. Changes and Suspension of the Services
1. The Clinic may change or temporarily suspend all or part of the Services due to system maintenance, technical failure, security issues, third-party service failure, force majeure, or other unavoidable circumstances.
2. Where advance notice is reasonably possible, the Clinic will announce the change or suspension through the Website or another appropriate method.
Article 11. Protection of Personal Information
1. The Clinic processes and protects Members’ personal information in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
2. Membership, appointment, and consultation information collected through the Website is directly managed by the Clinic and may be accessed only by authorized Clinic personnel who require access for their duties.
3. Further information is available in the Privacy Policy and the personal information collection and use consent notice applicable to each Service.
Article 12. Account Deletion and Restrictions
1. Members may request deletion of their Website account at any time through a method provided by the Clinic.
2. Website account deletion applies to Website membership information and is separate from medical records retained under applicable law in connection with actual medical care.
3. If a Member violates these Terms or applicable law, the Clinic may restrict use or terminate membership after providing notice. Where immediate action is required for security reasons, the Clinic may impose the restriction first and notify the Member afterward.
Article 13. Intellectual Property
Rights in the Website’s design, text, images, videos, treatment descriptions, and other content belong to the Clinic or the lawful rights holder. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use such content without prior permission.
Article 14. Responsibility
1. The Clinic and users are responsible under applicable law for damage caused to the other party by a violation of these Terms or applicable law.
2. The Clinic is not responsible for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, communication failures, or failures of social login providers.
3. Medical information, prices, and schedules displayed on the Website may change depending on the outcome of an actual consultation or the Clinic’s operating circumstances.
4. Nothing in this Article limits or excludes the Clinic’s liability for its intentional or negligent acts in violation of applicable law.
Article 15. Notices to Users
The Clinic may provide service-related notices through Website announcements, contact details registered in the Member’s account, MY INEE, or another appropriate method.
Article 16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
1. These Terms and use of the Services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. The Clinic and the user will first attempt to resolve disputes through mutual consultation. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to the court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
